At VDL Bike Frame Technologies an automated production process is used to quickly and flexibly produce various bicycle frame models. Our production engineers are involved right from the concept phase to improve manufacturability and optimization, significantly reducing the time-to-market. We carry out as many production processes as possible in-house, from design and engineering to robotic welding, heat treatment, and finishing. This provides better oversight and optimization within the factory. We aim to strengthen the European bicycle industry by delivering innovative and competitive products.
VDL believes in a zero-emission future for medium and heavy on- and off-road machines. Together with Toyota Motor Europe, we are working on this innovative technology project.
